What got you into cosplay?
Wanting to have the same clothes as my favorite charachters!!! Cosplay is something I do everyday, not just at cons. ^^
What was your first costume and why?
Nuriko from Fushigi Yugi. I simply loved him and wanted to make my first convention experience something I would look back on and be proud of (even though it was a pretty shabby costume...)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Probably Riku from Kingdom Hearts. I don't know if it's just because I spent so much time on it or if I just love being Riku, but it's probably the best thing I've ever made and it's quite comfy. ^^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream costume... hm... I suppose it would have to be the pink pleather outfit Shuichi wears from Gravitation. Even though it's an older fandom for me, I've always dreamed about doing that costume since the first time I saw it.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cosplaying Midou Ban at Acen 2004. I can look back on that as one of those life altering moments of my life as it's when I met my one and only Ginji, the love of my life.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Hai! I've been in 4 so far, and can't wait to do some more!
What was your best masquerade experience?
I think my favorite masquerade is still the first one I did, back at Acen 2002. As the Weib Kreuz group, we did a skit about Omi stealing Aya's pants one morning. I was Aya, and to this day I remember standing on stage in front of a few thousand people in a trench coat and a towel.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Hai, I won a judges award at Ikasucon 2004 for a Digi Charat Pirate skit. I was Puchiko Pirate.
I also won at the Little Tokyo Anime Festival in 2006 for best performace as Uchiha Sasuke in a Naruto Christmas group.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently a Fashion Design major at California Design College in Los Angeles. It's my first year, and something I blame totally on my cosplay obsession. I really have no life outside of cosplaying, dollfie and anime so I figured what the hell, why not go to school to be better at the one thing I love most!
