About Me / Q&A
What got you into cosplay?
I've loved dressing up ever since I was little, and as I got older I discovered anime and video games. I was so stricken by the characters, and I wanted to try to bring my favorite ones to life.
What was your first costume and why?
Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic. I chose her because Full Metal Panic is my favorite anime and I just love Kaname's personality.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Probably my Smoker costume from Left 4 Dead because I love that game so much and the costume was lots of fun to wear because everyone kept yelling "SMOKER!" like I was about to be taken down. Also it was fun to see people's faces when I started talking and they realized I was a girl. :)
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Right now that'd probably be May from Guilty Gear, because I don't think I'm skilled enough to make it yet, but hopefully I can one day!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Hmm...I'd say going to my first anime convention. It was Wasabi con 2010 (I think)...That' when I wore Kaname and hardly anyone recognized me, but I really didn't care because I was just so excited and overwhelmed by everything.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I never have, it sounds fun though!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, but I'm going to start entering my costumes in contests.
