What got you into cosplay?
The fact that some of the outfits in videogames/manga/Cartoon are so damn cool! They are so much better than some of the "fashions" out today.
What was your first costume and why?
I didn't even realize it was a mass hobby that it is. I just saw the outfit of Edea from FF8 and wanted to make the costume for Halloween. I then was shown that I was cosplaying! Who knew?
What is your favorite costume and why?
Newer costumes tend to be favourites. Blue Hearts is still a great one that I enjoy. I love being Vash, but the costume needs updating.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being in my first Masquerade at RECCA-Con 2002, singing an original song (lyrics were original, at least, done to the instrumental music of the videogame), and winning "Best Portrayal of Character" (one of 5 areas)
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes. I love to try and make funny and impressive skits to go with costumes that I worked hard on.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Probably Rem and my Trigun skit. I was so happy with the audience response.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yeah, I've won at several cons. It is mostly for my skits thought, I think. However, my favourite award has been getting to be Homecoming Princess my senior year of high school (not Queen, but still ranking), because I wore my Captain Jack Sparrow costume around school to get people to vote for me =3
Tell us a little about yourself
I am a college student. I have a family that's pretty okay compared to some I have seen. My hobbies are drawing, writing, cosplay, amateur voice acting, playing video games, amateur photography, and (badly) singing. I have a wonderful boyfriend who I intend to marry (and if you think I am joking, I laugh at YOU). Oh yeah, I also like to cosplay! XD
