What got you into cosplay?
Like most people I use to dress up every year for Halloween before I even knew about cosplay. Ever since I could remember my parents always went all out for the holiday and dressed up. So I have been around costumes all my life LOL One year I was Tifa, then Lara Croft, even Scully from The X-Files many years ago XD But it wasnt until my best friend decided to attend the first MetroCon, that I really got into it. I wanted to go in costume cause I thought it would be more fun that way. And now I just cant imagine myself out of costume at a con.
What was your first costume and why?
Yomiko Readman from the Read or Die OVA, worn to MetroCon's first year. Attending the con was a last minute thing for me so I only had about two weeks to make the costume. A friend had recently shown me the OVA so it was still fresh in my mind. I just really liked the character and thought it would be a fun outfit to wear. It ended up being very hot to wear, and maybe 5 people knew who I was XD but it was worth it.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I would have to say my Dion Rodger's Rinoa, I am so proud of this costume. When looking for fan-art on line I came across the pic that Dion had made of Rinoa. And I just thought right away that I had to make this costume no matter what. About a week later I got to work on it and I made it all from scratch. The pattern was done on tracing paper and everything was hand sewn. I had looked around on line to see if anyone else had a finished version of the costume but I didnt find any. So it was kinda confusing when I wore it to the con cause no one knew exactly what it was that I was cosplaying.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hmmmm I usually make most of the costumes that end up on my wish list. But I would have to say Slave Leia from Return of the Jedi. This was planned for MegaCon 2005 but I never got the chance to make it.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably Anime Weekend Atlanta in 2004, which was my second convention. I went with my two best friends and we just had a blast. It was just a nice experience to attend a convention outside of Florida, and see what other places were like. I wore Faye Valentine and even though there was tons of Spikes, I was the only Faye there XD So needless to say I had tons of fun getting pictures with all the Spikes I could find.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not really my thing to do at cons, I dont like to have any big obligations going on. At AWA I was in the costume contest with some other Bebop cosplayers and Jacon 2005 I was in a FMA skit. Both times were lots of fun and it was a total rush to be on stage.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I usually dont enter contests at cons, Im just too shy for those types of things XD But I did win second place on cosplaylab.com's Padme Amidala look alike contest. Which actually was really cool, and I was very happy to have placed.
Tell us a little about yourself
Well I graduated high school in 2002, and attented a 2 year technical school for TV production. I graduated that and have just been working my job at the mall. Im not really into TV and I plan on returning to school next year. It would be fun to study event planning or something like that. Besided cosplay my hobbies are reading, playing video games and I love to collect action figures. Recently I got married and moved to San Diego, but that doesnt mean Im gonna stop cosplaying. Im luck to have a great husband who supports me ^_^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Hmmmm I love to meet new people at cons, so I look foward to every event as a chance to do just that. Im actually pretty shy sometimes and I find it hard to approach people.

Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin, DragonBall Z, and the list just goes on and on.
My favorite game(s)
Final Fantasy VII is my favorite but I love all the other after that. The Prince of Persia trilogy, every Resident Evil game there is, Kingdom Hearts, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive and on and on.
My favorite book(s)
Rurouni Kenshin manga, Tales of the Otori trilogy, Harry Potter series, Resident Evil novels, HALO novels, and I work in a book store so its a very long list after that ^_^
My favorite character(s)
Faye and Spike from Cowboy Bebop, I just absolutely love that anime. Kenshin, Goku from DBZ, Naruto, Ed from FMA.....
My favorite movies(s)
Star Wars trilogies, both of them ^_^ The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Batman Begins, Resident Evil Apocalypse
My favorite actors/actresses
As far as actors go I would have to pick Al Pachino, Nick Cage, and Robert DeNiro. Actress would have to be Mirando Otto from LotR.
