I've been cosplaying since 2000. I always cosplay with my husband (Flexei) and I make costumes for the both of us. Over the years I've managed to make over 200 costumes.

I have a habit that when I like a series I feel the need to make a costume of every character, or all the outfits a certain character wears. Guilty Gear, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Naruto, and especially One Piece are series that I've cosplayed to death.

We attend a lot of east coast cons. More recently we tend to go to mostly Ohio conventions. (but we don't like Ohio, go figure)

When I'm not sewing I'm normally playing video games or working. I'm a full time dental hygienist.

What got you into cosplay?
The comic book magazine "Wizard" always had a halloween photo gallery of people dressed as comic book characters. I really wanted to make a Rogue costume, but i didn't know how. So I made a Jubilee, but I was embarrased about it and never wore it. From Comic book conventions I learned about and got into anime. From Sci-fi conventions my husband (Flexei) got into anime. So when we started dating our duel interest in anime exploded. We even watched the original BubbleGum Crisis on our first date. (That was back in 1997) So you could say that I'm a little bit comic book while Flexei is a little bit Sci-Fi and together we make a lot of anime. When I learned about anime conventions, I saw that there was costuming. So my old desire to make comic book costumes turned into Cosplaying. I didn't start making costumes until I graduated college and had the money to waste, err........invest into costuming. I graduated college May of 2000 and cosplayed at a convention for the first time Aug. 2000.
What was your first costume and why?
Miz Mishtal that I wore to Otakon 2000.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being able to meet the various friends I've made has been the best experience.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, when I'm properly motivated.
