What got you into cosplay?
Hmm...well I always liked Halloween, but it's only one day out of the year and when you're an adult you can't really walk around in costume unless you're going to a party. I decided to dress up for fun my first con and loved it so I've done it ever since.
What was your first costume and why?
I was madly in love with Gundam Wing when it first aired on Cartoon Network at the time of my first con and I wanted to dress up from that. Since I was physically close to Lady Une (glasses, dark hair, around the same age and body type), I decided to dress up as her.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hmm, not sure anymore. I will say that there isn't a costume I hate because I try to pick characters I like or whose costume I really enjoy and who I don't think I'll look totally out of place cosplaying.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Well, not really a dream costume since I'm constantly revising and re-revising my list, but I would really like to do a costume from some of the old cartoons I watched as a kid.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Good or bad? Bad: getting drenched and having my green hair dye from my Ryoko Subaru costume run all over my costume. It ruined my shoes too. Good: I have a couple actually. Katsucon 11 I met up with some really cool Last Exile cosplayers and was dubbed "Lobotomy Dio" and Otakon 2004 I dressed as Winry (Full Metal Alchemist) and actually got glomped.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not since my first Otakon when I went as Lady Une. There's usually something else I want to see or do during the masquerade. Awards don't really interest me all that much.
What was your best masquerade experience?

Tell us a little about yourself
I like to read, write (I published my first novel in 2004: The King of Futures Past--hopefully it won't be my last...), watch movies, cook, make things, sing, and odd though it may seem, write lists.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Some people don't realize there's a box they can be thinking outside of.
