What got you into cosplay?
The thrill of being someone else for a day (or two), especially of the opposite sex. ~_^ But seriously, I always loved to dress up in some elaborate costume that I made, I hated to buy something when I had plenty of glue and paper bags at home, haha. I made a Woody the Woodpecker costume when I was around 10; made it out of paper bags, felt, cardboard, feathers, and a lot of patience...XD It's the whole thrill of showing off something I made and getting compliments, especially in the form of a glomp. If someone glomps you, it's a good sign they know who you're dressed as and that lets me know that I did a good job. ^_^
What was your first costume and why?
Do Halloween costumes count? Cause I dressed up practically every time it came around! ^.^ But, for the sake of being a little official with this... Leia Organa of "Star Wars: Episode 4" - I wore it to the premiere of Star Wars: Episode 2 (I was badgirl Leia, I had black boots)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Duo Maxwell of "Gundam Wing" - It's my first anime cosplay and I wore it to my first anime con: Kunicon Miami Beach, 2004. My second favorite is Lust. It came out so well and looked awesome, I love wearing it and I feel like a completely different person in it. XD It makes me feel sexy, HAHA!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oh, who doesn't! I want to dress up as Allen Schezar of "Escaflowne" (yes, I'm strange, but I love the hair!), or Utena of "Revolutionary Girl: Utena" (I love princely uniforms). Or...Dio Eraclea of "Last Exile", or Zechs Merquise of "Gundam Wing", or Athrun Zala of "Gundam Seed" (love his blue hair!), or...^.^ *carries on for a couple more hours*
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Dressing up as Duo and seeing Scott McNeil in person, and being complimented by him! Doesn't hurt that he gave me a big hug and kiss on the cheek, hehe. Also gallavanting around the convention and being glomped (I love glomps!!!) and stopped for photos, the thrill of it all is so exhilerating...
Do you participate in masquerades?
Whenever there's one I can attend, of course! *sings* "Masquerade! Every face a different shade, masquerade, look around there's another mask behind you." The prom at the homeschool group I go to was a masquerade and I wore my Rau Le Creuset mask. But I didn't wear it long, just during the beginning, it came off when I hit the dance floor, haha. I'm attended the Masquerade Ball at Metrocon 2007 as ballroom Lust with a pretty mask and fan. Didn't enjoy it for long, fog machines gave me asthma problems and had to leave.
What was your best masquerade experience?
My youth group had a masquerade once and I ran around with a mask on all night, sneaking up on people and being generally silly. Well, it wasn't so much a masquerade, it was actually a Hawaiian party but I colored a big paper bag and put it on my head and VOILA! I was a tiki! XD No one knew who I was at first, haha, it was great... The prom as well, it was awesome and at first no one knew it was me cause my mask disguised me from most everyone...except David, he knew it was me...>_> Darn, my identity has been revealed!! *runs away*
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
1st place District 4-H Fashion Revue, selection devision - Duo Maxwell. ^.^ Won 3rd at State level for Duo too! *cheers*
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a homeschool graduate; have both mom and dad as well as the troglodite (brother); don't have a paying job; I love to draw anime and create my own original mangas, write fanfictions about "Gundam Wing", decorate things with stickers, read mangas and books about anime, watch anime, sing along to songs on my CDs or radio, act out things in my room (yes, I play all the parts), collect pictures on the internet of people or other things, create organized chaos, maintain and work on my website, and generally be strange (I'm REALLY good at that, haha).
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Scott McNeil's my fanboy and Vic Mignogna's my sensei? I don't know, ah...I'm a Christian, yep yep. I'm a 4-H alumni (11 years!); I'm a National Chicken BBQ winner (12th place in the nation); I have too many friends to count; I'm single and not really looking unless you're worth the glance; I'm not gay (dunno why I said that...>_>), I just like dressing up as male anime characters because I'm a modest person and half of the girls in anime are slutty so yeah, I'm not walking around in a bikini-sized costume in front of hundreds of people. Plus, girls glomp me when I dress up as a guy, and I'd prefer a girl hugging me to a guy, cause I've had bad experiences with guys hugging me *flashback to Mike squeezing the air out of her every Sunday* >.< *major over explanation*; I'm obsessed with anime to the point I act like an anime character sometimes and see characters from animes walking down the street...O_O Seriously, I saw a kid once that looked like orphan Duo! And some dude who looked like Allen Schezar...O,O *drools* Okay...I'm done. XD

My favorite game(s)
Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Halo, Legend of Zelda, Tetris, Super Mario Sunshine (I think?), Tales of Phantasia, Lemmings, chess...I don't play games too much cause I don't have time or else I'd be a total gamer.

DNAngel, Mars, Evangelion, Marmalade Boy, Jing: King of Bandits, Hellsing, Love Hina, Peach Girl, Peach Girl: Change of Heart, Gundam Wing: Episode Zero, X/1999, Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind, Fruits Basket, His and Her Circumstance, Rayearth, Lagoon Engine, Fushigi Yuugi, Anime: From Akira to Princess Mononoke, The Great Escape, Bambi (not the Bambi done by Disney :-p), Star Wars (the Thrawn series, can't remember the name right now), The Dark Tower series, the Harry Potter series...what can I say, I love to read, haha!
