What got you into cosplay?
After going to my first anime con, I felt that I was missing out on something. I liked seeing dressing up in very well made costumes. It gives people a chance to see what that character might look like in real life. I always wanted to be a part of that cause it looked fun.
What was your first costume and why?
My first (and only) costume is Micky Simon from Area 88. I'm a big fan of anime, but I'm also a huge military aviation junkie. I always wanted to see anime and aviation blended together, and Area 88 is one of the few true aviation animes (that doesn't involve transforming robots, not like I have a problem with that) to exist. So I decided to cosplay as Mickey Simon, since I don't have crazy hair like Shin, and my favorite fighter has always been the F-14 Tomcat.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I love my Area 88 costume, but lets face it. My Sim costume pwned! lol
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Geez. Let me bust out my list. lol. I always wanted to cosplay as Teknoman Blade. I'm a big Mech fan ever since I seen transformers, so any mecha suit I'll do. Sadly, my cosplay creation skillz are that of noob class, so I may never see that day unless someone will build it for me. I'm also interested in being a Paladin. =)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Only one. Walking around in my Micky Simon costume did seem kinda weird for me. Explaination for why: Exept for me and the literally dosens of fans out there, NOBODY CARES ABOUT AVIATION ANIMES OR FIGHTER PILOT STORIES BESIDES THE TRANSFORMING TYPES. In fact, most of my friends think that us "Top Gun" kids can just keep our jet fantasies out of anime. >( So I went as Mickey Simon to support the underdog anime, which resulted in my picture being taken like 0 times. I did get my picture taken by like 4 people, but I was with my friend at the time and he was cosplaying as Mars Alien. They must have thought that we both came from Bay Con. lol

Tell us a little about yourself
I currently work at the school I'm attending. CRC college in Elk Grove (or Elk Grove University, as some of us come to call it. lol) I plan on transfering to Chico later this year for an Applied Computer Graphic Degree. I'm getting into the animation field. I'd like to start a small animation company and make anime-inspired animation here in the US that DOESN'T suck. lol
I'm also a Gamer, ever since I was 6. Also, I'm an artist, 2d drawn art and expanding into 3D modeling.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Did I mention that I can also dance? lol. I'm heavily into swing dancing with the ladies. =D At the next con, I plan on wearing a "Swing Gundam" shirt with two gundams doing a swing out. The back will read "when the Gundam swings, everything ends!" lol
