What got you into cosplay?
When I went to Anime Iowa for the first time. seeing all the costumes made me want to try it. Getting a sewing machine for christmas the next year only made things worse. My first costumes at a con were Lina inverse and Miroku, they were quite ghetto and I am happy to have gotten better at sewing.
What was your first costume and why?
My first real cosplay was Misty from Pokemon for halloween. Because I loved Pokemon, and people didn't know who I was. It was ghetto tastic complete with orange hairspray.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I love my Nyah Cosplay. Cosplaying with my other friends made it a blast XD. It's obscure but when you get the fans who know who you are freaking out it's great.
Also it was fun to have a cosplay that didn't deal with wardrobe malfunctions and could actually move.
This year would have to be my plug suit I am amazed that I was able to pull it off. I didn't think it was something I was going to be able to make. and I had seen many good and bad ones before so I knew that I had to work my best at it.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
right now would be the ball gown of euphies from the CLAMP code geass art book. I drool thinking about that dress and I have yet to make a gown for my self.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
hmmm too many to count XD though Oh YES / all of sundayYoumacon 06 would have to be my top
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yea ^_^ mostly for craftmanship though
What was your best masquerade experience?
Winning best in show at Sogencon 06 with Tasha and Kitty. XD with a skit we wrote the night before!

Tell us a little about yourself
I go to Columbia College for Fashion Design, after transfering from Century college in White bear lake MN. for those who know where that is. I finished my generals and came to Chicago.
I have other weird hobbies but I don't really do much with them now. breyer model horses for one, and singing. Cosplay has taken over.:3
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Cosplay is what i eat drink sleep breathe.... I know it shouldn;t be ones life but I really enjoy it.
