What got you into cosplay?
One day, I saw pictures of Japanese cosplays in a magazine. It was the first time I heard of this. I had always loved to dress up, and I found this really exciting! Some times later, in 1999, I went to my first convention, in Paris, and there I saw my first cosplay. I swore that I would make a costume for the next edition the following year ^^ Then I met a girl who wanted to organize a Sailor Moon group for the next year, and I told her I'll do Sailor Venus, and so I began ^^
What was your first costume and why?
Well, in fact I have two 1st costumes! The one I began first was Sailor Venus (Super Sailor Venus). She's my favourite Sailor and one of my favourite female characters, and I was part of a big Sailor Moon group ^^ The other costume is Naga from Slayers. I had told I would do her with a friend, but we didn't talk about it again, and I forgot. And someday, something like 1 week before the con, she called me: "I've finished my Lina costume, and you, your Naga? :D " I was @_@ So we did the Naga costume in a few days, because I didn't want to let her alone. I consider Naga being my 1st costume and Venus the second, because I wore Naga on Saturday and Venus on Sunday.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favourite costume has been Cerecere for a looong time! I love the colors and it was so comfortable to wear ^^ But now I don't really know, I really like my Princess Venus costume, and the Card from Miyuki-chan too...and Jessica, and my Dollfie, and... @___@ I have more and more costumes and it begans to be too hard to choose juste 1 favourite! But maybe my favourite would be Terra now, because I wanted to make it so badly, and I really poured all my heart into this costume <3
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Lots of... Toooo many I think X_x
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I have too many good memories to pick just one!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, almost everytime, because in France that's the way it goes. But I also cosplay when there are no masquerades or contests, and sometimes I go on stage but do not enter the contest ^^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, I have won some. ^^
My favorite anime
Sailor Moon, Yuyu Hakusho, and Berserk are my 3 favourite manga. But I like others series like Nana, Naruto, Kenshin, GTO, Saint Seiya, Please save my earth, Gunnm,..... And talking about anime, I'm totally in love with Code Geass *_______________*
My favorite game(s)
Phantasy Star series, Final Fantasy series, Streets of Rage, Guilty Gear, King of Fighters, Skies of Arcadia, Phoenix Wright, Bust a move (puzzle bobble), Shining the Holy Ark, RPGs and many oldies... ^^ I really love games, especially RPGs and fighting games ♥
My favorite book(s)
The Lord of the Rings <333 Harry Potter, polars, fantasy,... Yeah, I especially like fantasy novels. ^^
