About Me / Q&A
What got you into cosplay?
Going to conventions.
What was your first costume and why?
Yomiko Readman. I love the Read Or Die movie and TV series. Yomiko was just really easy, total closetplay. And I could use my own hair and glasses.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I think it's a tie between Russia (Hetalia) and Claret (TeaHouse yaoi webcomic). Russia is always a very popular costume, I love random hugs from fans and posing for photos. But I had a TON of fun as Claret, I hardly ever don't crossplay. I got to wear a corset and feel beautiful for once. And the TeaHouse fans are just great.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Lady Une from Gundam Wing. There are many others, but Lady Une has been on my list for years. Two others I'll say for sure are Red Arrow (Young Justice) and Meg (Burst Angel).
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I got hugged by a group of very young Hetalia fans as Russia. I held my arms up and yelled "I'm not touching them! See where my hands are?!" Ha, ha! I always feel kind of pedo-y when stuff like that happens.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have three times now. They are fun, stressful, ha ha, but fun.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I liked getting to cosplay Darcia from Wolf's Rain and killing all the wolves on stage. But I love to dance, so the choreographed dance we did for a Hetalia skit was really fun.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
