What got you into cosplay?
Sometimes you just really want to dress up and pretend you're someone else, who is cooler or more sinister or hotter than you really are. Right?
What was your first costume and why?
My very first costume was Sailor Jupiter, because she was my favorite senshi from Sailor Moon. The actual costume was really super chou crappy, and I just found it recently, in all it's ghetto glory. I had a partially shaved head at the time and NO wig...so really, it was a bad costume....but a costume nontheless!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Definitely my favorite costume is my #18 costume, "classic" version. I like it so much because it's a fairly precise and well-put-together costume (even though it is an easy one). It's not fancy, really, but any Dragonball fan will appreciate it. It usually gets the most attention, too, with the easy-to-recognize Red Ribbon logo on the back.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A fully-armored Caska from Berserk and some of the more intricate Motoko Kusanagi costumes (with all the wires).
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Any time I get to pose with a Saiyaman or do any sort of sentai fighting Ginyu force style posing.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I participated in my first masquerade in 2003 at AnimeNEXT. Nothing fancy. No skit, just a walk-on to Jinzouningen Machi E, the Japanese theme played for #17 and #18, along with the other jinzouningen of Dr. Gero. It was fun! I don't think I'll participate in masquerades often. No one really cares for DBZ costumes, I think.
What was your best masquerade experience?
AnimeNEXT 2003 was cool. For the walk-on, I had asked the DJ to read "Cyborg Number 18" during my introduction, which is what Number 18 is, despite what the dub calls her. However, when he started to read that, the entire crowd started screaming at him "android!!!" before he could even finish reading what I wrote. Poor ignorant DBZ fans. God... ;-;
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I don't ever try for anything like that.

Really, really, really into cyborgs and the future. Daft Punk. Ghost in the Shell. Dragonball. Shiny things. Short hair. No real hobbies due to being so busy with school and work.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Much love for nerds and being a huge nerd, comics, anime, dressing up in costumes, cyborgs and androids, cyberpunk and transhumanism, muscular/veiny arms, making out like I'm back in high school, kink and sensuality, demons and knights, dancing like there's ass in my pants, night time and autumn, people watching, pyrates, sewing, writing, spoken word, slam poetry, Roland Deschain, Rock Lee, that cyborg ..18 (Juuhachigou), fine ladies like Monica Bellucci and Motoko Kusanagi, science fiction and Star Trek, tattoos and short hair, roller skating, wandering the city, laughing that sort of thing...
