What got you into cosplay?
I decided I wanted to dress up for Halloween, and I was really into Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and so I wanted to dress up as Alexis Rhodes. My friend told me to look up the costume online and so I did, but ended up having it made. I also remembered my friend was going to Anime North, and I wanted to check it out myself, so I registered and when Anime North came around, I went. It was pretty fun.
What was your first costume and why?
Alexis Rhodes and Jesse Anderson from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. I guess I chose them because I liked their outfits. I still have to re-make some stuff on both of them, but other than that it looks alright.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I'm actually hoping to get it done for this year, Hungary from Hetalia - in her military uniform. It's my favourite version of her, plus I wanted something less..."girly" because she's usually drawn in her green maid outfit.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians! When I saw previews from the movie for first time, I just knew others were gonna wanna cosplay him, myself included. I find it funny in an interesting way that everyone wants to cosplay this version of him. Hungary from Hetalia in her military uniform as well; and I choosed that version because I wanted someless "girly". And Olympic!Hockey!Russia because i'm really excited for the Winter Olympics in Russia next year, plus I love hockey and like to put two and two together. This one will depend if I'm able to get hockey skates (yep, I know how to skate!), plus the hockey stick AND most importantly the Russian Olympic hockey jersey (here's hoping NHL-ers get the green light to go to Sochi!).
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I was glad that I had a lot of people came up to me during Anime North and told me that they loved my costume. Made me feel really happy; though the only thing I didn't like about my costume were the boot covers I made, haha.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No. It sounds fun but I don't think I have it in me, hehe.
Tell us a little about yourself
When i'm not pretending to be somebody else, I like to watch sports. I love hockey and baseball and sometimes watch soccer. If you're a Leafs/Habs fan and a Blue Jays fan then you'd probably be my best friend. And of course, you'll catch me watching the World Cup and the Olympics (go Team Canada!). I love rock music and love to read books and of course some of my manga.

Axis Powers Hetalia, all Yu-Gi-Oh! series (not so much 5ds but I watch), Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler, Beyblade Metal Fury.

Jak 3, Mario & Sonic at Olympic Winter Games, Wii Sports Resort, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario bros. Wii.
My favorite book(s)
I don't have a favourite book, but I have a favourite genrte; like fantasy/vampire/fictional type stuff and i'm thinking of reading some history books.

Russia; Austria; and France from Hetalia, Bakura and Jaden Yuki from the Yu-Gi-Oh! series, Ciel Phantomhive; Grell Sutcliff and Sebastian Michaelis from Kuroshitsuji.

The Harry Potter series and Shrek.
My favorite actors/actresses
Well they're voice actors but: John DiMaggio, Ted Lewis, Marc Thompson and Dan Green.
