About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
"Huh, you know *insert real name here*, I could totally make that costume for you for Halloween." "Really, Mom?" "Yeah, absolutely! It doesn't look so hard" *FLAIL* (days later) "Actually, honey, I'm really busy with work, so you're gonna have to make it yourself." "But I don't know how to sew--" "Look it up." "...fine." And thus my cosplaying hobby was born. (It was actually a pretty well done costume. I've had it for about 6 years and it's been worn by a bunch of people, and it's still as good as ever.)
What was your first costume and why?
Sango from Inuyasha. For some reason I thought that show was cool in seventh grade, ahaha.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon! It's my most challenging and successful costume to date :D
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Pirate King Elizabeth Swann. That coat is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Astrid at Fan Expo 2011. There were a bunch of little kids who were convinced I actually /was/ her, and they all wanted photos with my axe and it was just about the most adorable thing ever.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not as of yet~
