What got you into cosplay?
Going to my first con! I saw all the people in costumes and thought, "What a neat thing to do..."
What was your first costume and why?
I actually made a five-minute costume of Iruka-sensei from Naruto for Halloween 2003. A friend of mine went with me as Mizuki (ep. 1). It wasn't well-made, but it was lots of fun.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Riku. It's terribly comfortable.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
"Lightning" from Final Fantasy XIII....SO not ever happening. *sigh*
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Tales of the Abyss group at Anime Boston 2008.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, my first was at Anime Boston 2006 as an extra of sorts in my friends' Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle skit.

I am currently a college student who doesn't want to grow up. I read obscure manga and then want to cosplay even though no one will know who I am.
My favorite anime
Um...there are a lot. I like shoujo, but not the endlessly goey stuff. Mahou shoujo and a few exceptions, like Nana. I am also a dorky shounen fan and like action, samurai and giant robot anime. Nothing with too much fanservice, though.
