What got you into cosplay?
I've always been a fairly creative person, but I could never quite find the right medium to work with... Until I started sewing. At first it was just the little stuff; my hand stitching was very neat, however, making costumes via hand-stitching was just way too time consuming. I had put it aside for a while, but then I received my first sewing machine, and I just took off with cosplay. Also, I absolutely love the atmosphere at cons (well, for the most part). That moment when you find a group of people who are just so kind to you, it's like having a big, nerdy extended family.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume? Oh boy. It was my Naruto OC. Yeah, I'm not too proud of that one....
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume so far has been my RED Fem!Engineer (TF2). It was heavily influenced by ChemicalAlia's female engineer mod (her work is fantastic).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm working on a HUGE project this summer with a group of close friends, all in preparation for Nekocon. I hope you'll see it come together as I upload pictures, but for now here's a few hints. - It's a video game. - It's space themed. - It involves humans and aliens. - A LOT OF PEOPLE ABSOLUTELY HATE THE ENDING. ~~~ In the future, I also hope to cosplay Android!GLaDOS (Portal 2 Version), Soldier (TF2), and Nicole Brennan (DS2 Version).
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My first convention. There were a few creeps, but everyone else was just so nice. It was heart-breaking to leave them.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have not yet, but I wish to at Nekocon 2012.
Tell us a little about yourself
I am currently a junior in high school, with a passion for technical theatre. I actually hope to major in production design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I also like to doodle in my spare time, although I'm not really what you'd call a "fine artist". I also love to play video games.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'll admit, I used to be a huge weeaboo, but now I don't do anime/manga all that much. I'm one of those ex-hardcore anime fangirls turned gamer. And no, I don't mean the Mario-worshipping, smartphone toting "GIRL GAMER". I can play with the big boys too, thank you very much.
My favorite anime
I really like Wolf's Rain; the fanbase isn't too large, so it hasn't been ruined quite yet. I also was recently introduced to Sengoku Basara II by a friend of mine, and that's pretty good too. Hetalia is okay, but that fanbase is pretty insane, so I tend to steer clear if I can.
My favorite game(s)
Well, I'm a major VALVe fan, so I like a lot of their games (TF2, Portal Series, Half-Life Series, etc.). I also like EA's Dead Space series and am hoping for a third installment. And last, but CERTAINLY not least, the Mass Effect Franchise. The way it ended may have been disappointing, but it was a great journey there.

I just read what ever my teachers require of me, and sometimes by a friends' recommendation I'll read a book series, but I don't have an absolute favorite.
My favorite character(s)
I can't just pick one. I like all of the TF2 characters; they all have their distinct personalities, and oh dear, THOSE ACCENTS. Isaac Clarke; well, I just feel really bad for the guy, but I mean, who wouldn't? And when it comes to Mass Effect... I could never, EVER CHOOSE JUST ONE.
