What got you into cosplay?
I liked dressing up in costume, especially as some of my favorite characters. It's fun to get to 'be' somebody other than yourself once in a while. ^^
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Jean Grey (civvies, season 1) from 'X-Men: Evolution'. She was my most *favorite* character at the time, and I thought it would be fun to dress up like her (plus, I thought I looked kinda like her anyways).
What is your favorite costume and why?
Up to this point in time - I think my favorite costume is Sakura from 'Naruto'. I bought the costume online, and I love how it fits me! Plus, getting to run around cons as a ninja is gonna be a ton of fun! ^^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'd love to be Larxene from the 'Kingdom Hearts' series. She's a total bad-@$$ - Organization XIII rocks! (Plus... I really love the coat, lol)
I'm also working on Sakura from 'Naruto: Shippuuden'... I can't wait to see how that turns out!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
So far - I think dressing up as Starfire for Anime Boston '05. I wore the costume with my friend who was dressed up like Raven, and at least 10 people that morning stopped us to ask if they could take a photo of us. It was so cool! ^__^
(Plus... seeing people in the Prudential Center stare at all the con-goers was kinda funny too, lol)
Also, when I dressed as Starfire to Wizard World Boston '05, I got my photo in the newspaper! It was *so* cool.

Do you participate in masquerades?
I've never done it before, and never been able to get in to one before because they're always too packed... but they sound like tons of fun (to watch AND to be in).
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Once - for my school's Halloween costume contest in '07. I was dressed as Sally from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', and won a $50 Mastercard Gift Card! WooHoo!
(I got called 'the ghoul girl' bu the judge, LOL)
Tell us a little about yourself
Let's see... 23 years old, currently working as a cashier in a party supply store (hopefully not for much longer), attending school in Boston, training to be a medical assistant, and saving up money. That's about it for now, lol.
