What got you into cosplay?
My friends, mostly.
What was your first costume and why?
Quistis Treppe! It worked out perfectly, because I looked just like her.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Donna Noble, I think. It's easy, it can be worn as normal clothes, and I get to harass all of the Tenth Doctors I see.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I get all kinds of ambitious ideas all the time, but nothing ever really comes of them (not enough time). Right now just focusing on my Sherlock cosplay.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Winning a masquerade with my group one year, at Ani-Magic.
Do you participate in masquerades?
What was your best masquerade experience?
See *two* above.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
... see *three* above.
Tell us a little about yourself
Finally done with school, and working as a licensed, certified massage therapist! I don't do much else besides read, RP, spend time with my pets, shop and make crafty things, but I'm really hoping to get back into cosplay. I love it and I miss it.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
To be honest, I'm not as much into anime as I used to be, but that doesn't stand in the way of my desire to cosplay. Lots of really great movies and tv shows and books to cosplay from!
Currently my trifecta is: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural.
My favorite anime
Weiss Kreuz, Wolf's Rain, Howl's Moving Castle, Gravitation, Paradise Kiss, X/Tokyo Babylon, Yami no Matsuei, Hetalia, R.O.D., Cowboy Bebop, FAKE, Evangelion
My favorite game(s)
Final Fantasy VIII, Soul Calibur, Guilty Gear.
My favorite book(s)
Anything by John Green, the Temeraire series, the Nightrunner series, Good Omens, stories by Holly Black, Neil Gaiman and Christopher Moore. Tons of others, but not enough space.
