What got you into cosplay?
I've always loved costumes. And when I found out about the cosplay world when I got into high school, I was in for good lol.
What was your first costume and why?
Snow White. I cosplayed her at a character costume spirit day thing. But I'm so particular about quality and film-accuracy, so I bought a professional-grade costume, knowing I would keep it for future events.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I love all my costumes so much. And I'm an indecisive person, so I couldn't tell you which is my favorite haha. I enjoy cosplaying them all for different reasons.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm currently working on a Rapunzel (Tangled) costume. It'll be the first I've done entirely myself. Hand-embroidered skirt, the braid from scratch, everything.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Considering I own a princess entertainment character company, I have so many memorable cosplay moments. Every time a little girl smiles at me when I'm in character, gives me a hug, says I'm their favorite princess, I get all sorts of happy inside because I'm reminded that in essence, my job is the privilege of making dreams come true.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I never have, but I'd like to have a go at one when I finish Rapunzel.
Tell us a little about yourself
I love Disney, of course, particularly the Disney princesses. They're all so close to my heart. I love mermaids (I hope to purchase a silicone mermaid tail relatively soon). The art of film making fascinates me entirely. I'm an INFJ. I have very pale skin and I embrace it- the sun is not my friend lol.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Check out my YouTube channel, where I post my fandubs of Disney songs and scenes, as well as Disney lyric rewrites.
I'm also on Tumblr. Disney blog :D http://breakmyfrozenheart.tumblr.com/
My favorite book(s)
The Hunger Games (trilogy, Collins)
The Maze Runner (trilogy, Dashner)
My favorite character(s)
Disney Princesses-- the three who are closest to my heart are Snow White (my beauty inspiration), Ariel (my childhood favorite, because she's a mermaid), and Rapunzel (I have sentimental attachments to her and to "Tangled"). And then there's Elsa, who isn't *yet* a part of the Disney Princess Royal Court. She's the character I hold closest to me. I've loved her character since I found out about Frozen years ago. I'm so similar to her, and it's even better because I truly have a sister called Anna, pronounced the same way. So it's basically real life hehe.
My favorite movies(s)
Far too many to name.
