I started cosplaying in 2005. Though the first few costumes I did were bad. Well ok I've never really done anything that was that good. . but I wasn't doing as much as I am now. Around 2007 or so I started to pick up costumes at a faster rate but recently my interest in Anime fandom has been declining so I might be looking into other types of events.

What got you into cosplay?
One day I was at a local gaming shop. Talked to the girl behind the counter. She dragged me kicking and screaming, it was quite painful to be honest.
What was your first costume and why?
If you want to get techinal. Jason Voorhees is my first costume that was "Made" so to speak, and not bought. It was admittidly for Halloween, so I'm not sure how much that REALLY counts. But I did it becuase it's a fun costume to act out in.
What is your favorite costume and why?
The Cosplay Pope. I just really like the Keyblade. I was also useing the Pope Hat as party hat at drinking parties at the time so it all just made sense.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Most of my dream costumes are done/being done
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably Onna! (Yeah I know I'm going to be the first and only person to say that) But that was the first time I got to put alot of faces to names I had heard.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Only one, honestly I don't see myself doing it again. Takes up too much time at the con.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Eh. Not a fan of them.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, nor do I care to.
Tell us a little about yourself
I have a decent job as a bank teller. Play Heroclix at times, read more American Comics then I do mangas, though I do try to follow One Piece at the very least and read the Haruhi light novels as the translations come.

Sailor Moon, DragonBall Z, One Piece, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Haurhi, Azumanga Daioh (Perfer the manga though),
My favorite game(s)
I'm a big fan of the older 2d platformers 8-bit and 16-bit were my favorite times of gaming. But I'm also a big fan off all the Wii Sports games. Mostly because I don't devote as much time to video gaming as I used to.
My favorite book(s)
I'm a big fan of Sarah Vowell's work, The Looking Glass Wars is a good series of books, Twilight was entertaining (but I read it in the state of mind that it was a comedy), Haruhi light novels, and I was a fan of the Oz Books when I was younger.

Star Wars, Friday the 13th, Ginger Snaps, Ghost Dog, there's really alot and I'm pretty randomly into different genres
