About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
My cousins were obsessed with Anime and Cosplaying and they bugged me to go to a con for my birthday.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Malon from Legends of Zelda, because when my cousins asked me to go to my first con, I didn't know of any Anime, so we all dressed up as characters from Legends of Zelda.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I LOVE my lolita dress. I wore it to a con in 2012 and everyone adored it.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes, I do. I think I want to make my own Meiko (Vocaloid) costume for a con in Feb 2014. Although, that's not my "dream costume". I am kind of planning on making a dress for the same con next year, but it's a surprise.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Well, considering most of the cons I've been to were really small and not too exciting, I'm hoping that the con in Feb 2014 will be memorable. It will be a big con compared to cons I've been to in the past. Plus, a really good friend will be visiting from over seas during that time and attending that con with me. I do enjoy cosplaying in random public places, though. I love the reaction from strangers. Those are usually when I have the most fun.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I've never gone to one.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, as I haven't entered any contests. I'm hoping that my next costume will be good enough to win something.
Tell us a little about yourself
I am currently home-schooled. I live with my parents and my younger [annoying] brother. I have been working at a steak delivery and pick-up as a phone operator/bag-packer/salad-maker/floor-scrubber/slave for about 2 and a half years. Most of my hobbies consist of the arts, such as, playing piano/guitar/any other instrument I want to learn, crochet, sewing, sketching, inking, etc.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Not really ._.
