What got you into cosplay?
Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, and I've always loved dressing up as someone else. Being a character is fun as I can entertain people as them, and generally be around people easier than just as myself
What was your first costume and why?
First was probably the one waaaayyyyy back when I was 5 years old and my dance class did the Olympics as a theme and my mom dressed me as an equestrian rider. But first official cosplay was American McGee's Alice because I wanted to do her for Halloween.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Demyx of Kingdom Hearts. I associate with the character a lot and love the coat. I worked hard on modifying the patterns and making the wig and sitar. And it's fun to be silly.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A bankai for Rukia, based on my interpretation that she'd probably look like a miko but have a furisode, all in pure white.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being tackled 5 minutes after I got my registration done at Yaoicon 2006
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have once and would like to again. I love being on stage entertaining others (and being honest, the money prizes, though unlikely to win, would make my family happier about my choice of hobby)
What was your best masquerade experience?
My friend falling off the stage at ALA 2008.
Tell us a little about yourself
Going to Chabot College in Hayward, California. I live with my mom and dad in San Leandro. Other hobbies include horseback riding, cooking, caring for animals, fishkeeping, pixel art, and doodling.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Would like to meet more local cosplayers, espcially fellow Organization XIII, Gurren Lagann, and Bleach cosplayers (female prefered <3)
