What got you into cosplay?
im guessing it was halloween and the legend of zelda, i loved that game so much, and dressed up as old school link when i was really young, and always wanted to be link for halloween and thats where it all began, except i didnt make it for halloween but for fun and ended up wearing him for halloween and still do ^_^ .
What was your first costume and why?
My first ever costumes were Leonardo (tmnt) and Link, I wasnt allowed to go trick or treating when i was very young (different culture thing) so I dressed up whenever i felt like it. I was a huge tmnt and Loz fan when i was very little .
What is your favorite costume and why?
my Link costumes, all of them. Because I really love being Link, and its tons of fun to be able to represent a character that I care much about. .
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
my biggest dream costume is not just one, but many, to be able to make every single link costume in exsistance...since i pretty much devoted my cosplaying to him. but then hes not really a dream costume since i am making it. I do have "real" dream costumes tho, some of them from over 10 years ago, and finally i am making them with the skills i have now that i didnt have then, and the materials and tools. but im taking my sweet time, im seriously in no rush. i never like rushing costumes. .
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I was Link at the Nintendo booth at E3 2006, to advertize The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and I met Shigeru Miyamoto while being in costumes, It was something I wished to do, but never thought it would ever really happen *.* . He is seriously the only person I would ever want to meet, and I never thought I would and be dressed as Link at the same time *dies* We had some great chat time, and he signed my Twilight Princess Link sheild, and costume. It seriously felt like it was only a dream, but it wasnt. I was also really happy to know that he loved my costume. It seriously was a dream come true! .
Do you participate in masquerades?
yeah now i do..i used to do walk ons...well i still do, but at some cons i do performances with my cosplay group RiSaPi! masquerades are a whole lot funner (is that a word >.>) now. .
What was your best masquerade experience?
I had many actually. .
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
yes .
Tell us a little about yourself
I love playing Videogames. I am a huge supporter (insane fanatic) of Nintendo and a big fan (extremely obsessed) of The Legend of Zelda series, and tmnt. I also love other nintendo related (mario, metroid, starfox etc.) .
