What got you into cosplay?
I got into cosplay after learning about it in Animerica back around Spring 1999. I've always enjoyed acting, and I enjoy the aesthetics of characters. I love being able to put on a face and bring people's favorite individuals to life.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Willy Wonka. I was both fascinated by Johnny Depp's portrayal of a character from my youth, and I wanted to do someone with a wacky personality and a somewhat easy (at the time) but eye-catching outfit.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I can't say right now.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A few actually... - James of Team Rocket (I've been wanting to do him for ten years.) - Count D - Il Palazzo
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
"Memorable?" Halloween 2007. I tested out a SquareEnix Belts & Zippers Pretty Boy look and wandered the city that night. I stopped to rest in a park, and ended up being approached by a gay man who attempted to seduce me (and failed).
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet as I haven't figured out how to pull off my skit ideas.
