What got you into cosplay?
I had always loved Halloween, and dressing up, and I made the connection of making character costumes before I even knew what Cosplaying was. Once I got wind of the cosplay community (thanks to being directed at Adella's Aeris costumes), I was all over it.
What was your first costume and why?
My very first character-related costume (that I made myself) was Misty from Pokemon, for Halloween of 1999. I...try to block that from my memory though. My first official Cosplay was Nakuru Akizuki of Card Captor Sakura. I chose her for the simple reason that I could buy most of the pieces, and I could use my own hair. Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures of this costume in it's original form, BUT! I did get some shots wearing the clothing pieces as a random-school-girl for the last day of Kumoricon 2007 (Almost FIVE YEARS LATER, and it fits me again. Yeah, don't ask how THAT works.)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Right now? Wow, that's a hard one. Generally speaking my "favorite" costume tends to be whichever one I've finished most recently. I think all-time favorites though, include my Haku from Spirited Away, and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts. I'd say Garnet, but I have a lot of work I want to do on her, before the costume will match my love of the character.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Garnet til Alexandros' Royal Gown from Final Fantasy IX is up their on my list of Dream Cosplays. Also on the list are Mytho (Final Episode) from Princess Tutu, and Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Anime Central 2008 -- most of the con was not so amazing, but I will never, EVER forget that Masquerade experience. My friend and I entered the Masquerade skits for shtz'n'giggles, and ended up shockingly taking the award for best skit/best in show.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, and I love it! It's one of the primary reasons I continue to cosplay.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Being Light Yagami in the Deathnote/Saw Skit "The Game of Life" for A-Cen 2008 -- and then having it unexpectedly win Best In Show!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Mmm... most of my awards have been for skits/groups. I DID win the cosplay lab Look-a-Like contest January of 2008 for my Winry Rockbell costumes. Skit awards include SakuraCon 2007 (Super Elric Bros.: Best Veteran Skit), Anime Central 2008 (The Game of Life: Best Skit/Best in Show), KumoriCon 2008 (A Recipe for Turnabout: Best Professional Skit), and SakuraCon 2009 (Sora the Explorer: Best in Show)
Tell us a little about yourself
Well, I'm 23-years old, and currently just.. chilling and living a little. I've been taking some time off, re-organizing my life, and trying to find some new direction. I'm broke-like-a-joke, and currently looking for a new job, while working on a couple of pet-projects. I'm Buddhist, which surprises a lot of people, and I collect tea pots, lanterns, and dragons. My favorite pass-times include Online Text-Based Roleplaying, knitting, and drawing. And of course cosplay and video games, but that's sort of a given around here.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I try to avoid drama, but like the plague it spreads quickly despite your best efforts.

I don't know about favorites, but I greatly admire Julie Andrews, and Johnny Depp.
