What got you into cosplay?
I had always loved Halloween, and dressing up, and I made the connection of making character costumes before I even knew what Cosplaying was. Once I got wind of the cosplay community (thanks to being directed at Adella's Aeris costumes), I was all over it.
What was your first costume and why?
My very first character-related costume (that I made myself) was Misty from Pokemon, for Halloween of 1999. I...try to block that from my memory though. My first official Cosplay was Nakuru Akizuki of Card Captor Sakura. I chose her for the simple reason that I could buy most of the pieces, and I could use my own hair. Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures of this costume in it's original form, BUT! I did get some shots wearing the clothing pieces as a random-school-girl for the last day of Kumoricon 2007 (Almost FIVE YEARS LATER, and it fits me again. Yeah, don't ask how THAT works.)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Right now? Wow, that's a hard one. Generally speaking my "favorite" costume tends to be whichever one I've finished most recently. I think all-time favorites though, include my Traveling-Clothes!Winry Rockbell, and Haku from Spirited Away. I'd say Garnet, but I have a lot of work I want to do on her, as much as I love her.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Garnet til Alexandros' Royal Gown from Final Fantasy IX is up their on my list of Dream Cosplays. Also on the list are Princess Tutu (from the series of the same name) and Ariel from "The Little Mermaid"
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Oh Man. How about ALL of SakuraCon 2007; from meeting Vic Mignogna, to cosplaying with a group for the first time; from getting the most AMAZING pictures and meeting the most amazing people, to winning Best Veteran Skit.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, and I love it!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Being Light Yagami in the Deathnote/Saw Skit "The Game of Life" for A-Cen 2008 -- and then having it unexpectedly win Best In Show!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
My friends and I won Best Veteran Skit at Sakuracon 2007. Another skit I was in won Best in Show at ACen 08. I've also won a cosplay-lab look-a-like contest for my Winry costume.
Tell us a little about yourself
Well, I'm almost 23-years old, and currently just.. chilling and living a little. I recently quit my job as a Barista to take some time off, re-organize my life, and find some new direction. I'm hoping to go back to school in 2009, to study herbal science. My favorite pass-times include Online Text-Based Roleplaying, and occasionally drawing (though not as much these days). And of course cosplay and video games, but that's sort of a given around here. I'm also slowly getting back into writing.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I hate Drama. I hate people with over-inflated ego's. Also, Cosplay is not Serious Business.
My favorite anime
[IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER] Card Captor Sakura, Digimon Tamers, Fullmetal Alchemist, Princess Tutu, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Vision of Escaflowne
My favorite game(s)

My favorite character(s)
Garnet 'Dagger' til Alexandros [Final Fantasy IX], Sora [Kingdom Hearts], Ariel [The Little Mermaid], Fakir [Princess Tutu], Ahiru [Princess Tutu], Alphonse Elric [Fullmetal Alchemist], Edward Elric [Fullmetal Alchemist]
