What got you into cosplay?

What was your first costume and why?
BT I was really into .hack//SIGN at the time and I just liked her outfit and thought her character fit me. Kit Foxfire did Mimiru so we could match.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I have several favorites.. Wedding Ashe :D Lots of reasons. It's my baby. Aayla is fun except the blue paint is a pain :/ Same for Interstella. Also Taokaka is always fun to creep around and wear.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Dragoon version Meru from Legend of Dragoon. And still, KOS-MOS. I've been wanting to do that for a few years now...the urge comes and goes. Motoko Kusanagi. I have a tachikoma obsession and a shelf full of them and Motoko figures.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
A lot...up there includes my New York trip with Square-Enix and my Best in Show for Tao. Anime Expo was quite the trip too.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I'd rather not...too much stress.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Honorable mention for hand beading - Rydia @ Katsu '05. Trip to NY with Square-Enix for their FFXII day/press conference. Best in Show for Taokaka @ AnimeNext 2009.
