What got you into cosplay?
I was listening to older friends talk about "cosplaying" and I found out from them what it is. I decided it'd be pretty cool to do!
What was your first costume and why?
Winry Rockbell from FMA, becuase I ADORE Full Metal Alchemist, and the costume was easy to make for my first time. Plus, I'm so much like her! Originally, I was supposed to go as Ryuichi from Gravitation for my friend's Kumaguro costume. My youngest brother (around 8 at the time) really want ed to go to Otakon with me, and wnated to go as Edward Elric. I told him that if he went as Ed, I'd go as his Winry! He agreed, and I got to work on my costume. In the end, he couldn't come, but I was already done my costume! What was the point of making another so late in the game? I told my friend this, and she got pretty ticked with me... -.- Ah well >>
What is your favorite costume and why?
Edward Elric (('spcially if I'm in my Wirny costume!)) they're all so adorable, and I love running up to them and hugging them. ((Or threatening to hit them with my wrench, as almost all the Edwards that went to Otakon 2005 know....)) Update- April 5th, 2006: I liked doing the Miku Hinasaki costume for Katsucon 2006 also, though no one knew who I was... u.u Update- February 21, 2007- I really like my friend's Clow Card outfits.. <3 I hope to do The Nothing card soon... ><
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Jakoustu from Inuyasha. What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My first, Otakon 2005. I made so many new friends, but I could only go Sat. and Sun. I was Winry and I would run aorund with a wrench going, "EDWARD ELRIC!!" to every Ed I saw, until another Winry took the wrench. ((it was her's to begin with, I just borrowed it)) then another Ed gave me a bolt and I ran around tapping all the Ed's on the shoulder going, "Edo-kun...this isn't, by any chance, IMPORTENT, is it...?" Update- April 5th, 2006- Artist Ally at katsucon...woo... Update- February 21, 2007- This past Otakon, when my friend Lynz (dressed as Edward) mock-proposed to me in front of everyone at the FMA Photoshoot! *squee* So much fun!
Do you participate in masquerades?
no, not yet anyway. Update- April 5th, 2006: I didn't participate In a masquerade, but I went and saw one for the first time at Katsucon 2006. it was so funny! n.n
What was your best masquerade experience?
wasn't able to make it to one. I was never in it. Update- April 5th, 2006: Wasn't IN one, but went TO one. it was so fun... ^___^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
not yet..... update- April 5th, 2006: Just remembered, I won an award for best Costume at an end-of-the-year party, when I dressed up as a geisha. But that was in school...does that count? O.o
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a Sophomore in High School. It's so funny when I tell people my age though, becuase they all say the same thing, "What!? There's no way you're 14! you look 18!" I am also in the band at Westminster High School, I'm in Colorguard, meaning I spin flag, rifle, and saber- COLORGUARD DOES NOT PLAY INSTURMENTS! My favorite subjects include: English, History/Government, Science, and German. Least Favorite: Math and Gym. I enjoy roleplaying, reading, writing, playing piano, getting into trouble with Cassy, and cosplaying (of course!) I'm a very sweet and nice girl, until oyu really get to know me. Then you get to see that, despite how much I try to like everyone and never hate anyone, I have a secret love for teasing people behind their backs. Don't worry though- if you're a good friend, I won't do this. <3 I love you guys too much. I also have a rather sick/sadistic/twisted/WHATEVER sense of humor. I go through small bouts of depression, so please don't be too offended if I don't great you in an overly-friendly manner as some mgiht be used to me doing. I get annoyed fairly easily also. I also like to rant, as you can tell. So I'll shut up now! x.x

-Bartimeaous Trilogy -Dan Brown's series of books ((Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, ect.)) -Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicals -Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy -David Eddings Series (Belgarion, etc.) -Catcher in the Rye -Dracula -Count of Monte Cristo And a bunch of other ones, but it'd take forever to read through all of them.
