What got you into cosplay?
It was relatively inadvertent...GreenApple here on cos.com asked me to run around Katsucon 8 with her. I have to admit, she said "anime convention?" and my first reaction was "NO WAY THAT'S TOTALLY LAME."
....yeeeah, we all know how THAT worked out ^_^
What was your first costume and why?
Rei Ayanami's school uniform for Katsucon 8, which consisted of frayed broadcloth and stitch witchery and was created the night before the con.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Usually the one I'm currently working on :3
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My first one was Rosa Farrell from FF4, but now that that's done my new obsession is Medusa from PSoH.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The masq I was in at Otakon 2005...I danced to the Numa Numa song (Dragostea din Tei) as Dagger, along with fellow cosplayers d1g1tini, as a stuffed-crotch Zidane, and odalisque, as Trance Kuja.
Also winning Best in Show at Katsucon 2007 for my Rosa costume ^____^
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have been initiated into the masquerading masses, yes.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Well, my ONLY experience was well received! "No more Fantasy, and that's Final!" to "Dragostea din Tei", starring Zidane, Dagger, and Trance Kuja from Final Fantasy 9.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes! I won Best In Show at Katsucon 2007 for my Amano Rosa Farrell costume. My friends d1g1tini and GreenApple and I have also won two judge's awards - "Hey, I Think You Made Me Gay" at the Otakon 2005 masq for our skit entitled "No More Fantasy, and that's Final!", and "Best Use of Hardware for Magical Girls" for our Odin Sphere costumes in the Otakon 2008 Friday Hall Costume Contest :)
Tell us a little about yourself
I have OFFICIALLY GRADUATED from VCU with a BoS in Psychology!! SWEET, SWEET FREEDOM. I am currently employed with Strategic Resources, Inc., and am counting down the days until 9-20-08 when I will be moving into my own apartment. Probably my biggest goals in life are to visit Ireland, Egypt, and Greece (must see them all) and watch my children grow into functional adults. Yes, functional.
Hobbies of mine include cosplay (obviously), reading, hiking, video-gaming, crafts other than cosplay (mainly collaging and crocheting), sewing, smothering my kittykat with love, being outside, general chillage, and geeking around with the rest of the Feepits.
So. I guess the only other thing to add is I have harboured a raging crush on Capitan Jean Luc Picard and Lieutenant Data from Star Trek: TNG ever since I can remember. Yes, that's very important :)

My favorite anime
Spirited Away, Mars by Fuyumi Soryo, the Nana series (I forget the author, I am bad), (actually I guess a lot of those are manga, but WHATEVER), Evangelion...I'm more into video games than anime. I guess I should also admit that I love Dragon Ball Z...it was the first anime I ever watched. It will always have a special place in my heart.

SNES's Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Final Fantasy IX is my favourite of that series even though I really love all FF from 4 - X-2 (except 11, eff that game), God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Disgaea. I am now playing Odin Sphere and I love it!
My favorite book(s)
Oh man, I should not even get started on this. A few are: almost anything by Neil Gaiman, especially Stardust, almost anything by Philippa Gregory, especially the Wideacre Trilogy, Philip Pullman's His Dark Material's Trilogy, P...I, like many others, am in love with the Harry Potter series, and I absolutely loooooove Brian Jacques's Redwall series. I should probably stop now, though ^^
My favorite character(s)
Cid Highwind, he is my hero and all-time favourite and also totally hot (yes, another old man crush). Kratos is totally badass, even if he is a crazy killing machine (or perhaps BECAUSE, hmm...), Wander because he kills giants, FLONNE because she is oh-so-cute...Reira from the Nana series. Urd is probably my favourite character ever, because she's gorgeous and michevous and awesome.

Pride and Prejudice! I also love Jurassic Park (the first one), and I love quoting from it in any and all life situations :D
My favorite actors/actresses
I seem to like Kate Winslet a whole lot. And Scarlett Johannson and Audrey Hepburn. Johnny Depp and Joaquin Phoenix and Frank Sinatra and Geoffry Rush and Ewan McGreggor and Gene Kelly.
