What got you into cosplay?
I first found out about cosplay from looking at an issue of Animerica and seeing all the con pictures. Near the begining of 2001 my friend Lila said she would cosplay Tifa and I decided to cosplay Cloud with her.
What was your first costume and why?
Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII back in 2001. I have quite an obsession with him and have role-played as him on many occasions so I thought it would be really cool to cosplay him. Plus I had a goal in mind that he would be the first character I would ever cosplay. The first attempt was pretty lame though considering I didn't know how to sew back then.
What is your favorite costume and why?
It's a tye between Cain and AC Cloud though I really need to redo Cloud (yet again).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I plan to keep remaking AC Cloud until I get it right and then I plan to continue to the rest of Cloud's costumes eventually so I guess you can say it's my dream to get all his outfits made.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Eh, I have too many memorable experiecnes. Hard to just list one.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Sometimes
What was your best masquerade experience?
Definitly Katsucon 11 where my friends and I did a skit called "Popular" with various Final Fantasy characters and one Suikoden III character. The skit itself was a blast to do and we won Best in Show for it. ^^ And everyone in the Masquerade was extremly nice and it was just a very good experience in general.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Well, haven't won any awards for any of my costumes individually but have gotten awards for skits I've been in.
