What got you into cosplay?
Seeing other people doing it. It looked like a lot of fun and I wanted to try it.
What was your first costume and why?
Sana-chan from Kodomo no Omocha because she was my favorite character. I also made a Sailor Moon costume (that I wore for Halloween) pretty much around the same time as Sana... so I really don't remember which was first.
What is your favorite costume and why?
For the longest time, my Summoner Yuna costume was my favorite cosplay because of the painting on my skirt and obi. It still is up there, but my current favorites (yeah... more than one F-) are Van Fanel and Lacus Clyne (pink gown).
The Vision of Escaflowne has been one of my favorite animes since it came out. The show has always been a classic to me, and I loved Van's character to pieces. Although his actual costume is incredibly simple, my wings and weaponry really make me love wearing this guy.
I became hooked on Gundam SEED while in Japan and of course I really liked Lacus. I never have thought I was beautiful or cute, but whenever I wear Lacus' pink gown... I suddenly feel like a princess.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
King Leonidas from 300.

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At Comic Con I was dressed up as Legolas and walking around when out of nowhere comes Dominic Monaghan and Elijah Wood and Dom says, "Hey, nice costume!".
Do you participate in masquerades?
Every now and then, just for fun!
What was your best masquerade experience?
For a while it was Comic Con 2003, but I think my new best masquerade experience was at Fanime 2005 with TeniMyUSA. We had such a fun time together and I was so happy *o*.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Mmmhmm.
Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated high school with the class of 2004 from a performing arts school where I studied musical theater and ballet. I've been performing ever since I was little and plan to continue to do so in the future. I'm roommates with fellow cosplayer Richii and I work a lot.
