What got you into cosplay?
It all started Halloween of 2000 when I did my first costume of my own fan character based off of Sailor Moon. My mom sewed it for me, and I wore it to a party. I didn't even know what cosplay was untill 2001 when I attended my first anime convention, SugoiCon. I enjoyed myself very much, and the love for dressing up as anime characters hasn't died since.
What was your first costume and why?
Lime from Saber Marionette J. I can relate to her in many ways, and she is a genuine and kind marionette. She also is deeply in love with Otaru and would do anything for him. Just like I would do for my friends. My mother helped me out extensively with it because I had no sewing experience.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hyper Witch Mugi Mugi Deluxe. I put a lot of work and effort into it. It turned out way better than I had expected. The hat was such a challenge, and also were the construction of the shoes.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Ivy or Tira from Soul Calibur 3.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Winning the "Best Performance" Award at IkasuCon 2003, for my "Nun's gone Wild" skit.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes. Even though I have a really tough time thinking of a skit seeing as I go at it alone ^_^;
What was your best masquerade experience?
Performing on stage as Mink at IkasuCon '06. The skit went over very well.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Five awards total: 2003-Best Presentaion: Felicia costume 2005-Best Craftsmanship: Hyper Witch Mugi Mugi Deluxe 2006-Best Interpretive Character Skit: Mii 2006-Best Presentation - Journeyman: Mink 2006-Best Overall Cosplay: Magical Maid Koyori

I have 3 cats, a dog, and an Iguana. I have a knack for learning things quickly, and I love all types of art. I try to further my skills in all forms of art, such as drawings, paintings, sewing, and also music.
