What got you into cosplay?
My friends!! I always considered making a costume, but it wasn't actually put into action until 2007. Me and my friends were at Denny's and talking about the upcoming ACEN convention we were planning on attending, I said, "Considering this is my first con, I'm probably going to just be an observer for the first year - no costume for me." My friends responded with a resounding, "NOOOO!!!" so I guess I had to make SOMEthing.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume? Wow this goes back - WAY back to elementary school, my 5th grade teacher decided for our "Native American" unit we should create costumes. Being the competitive 10 year old I was, my costume had to be THE BEST - so I modeled it to look just like Peter Pan's Tiger Lily completely hand sewing the entire ensemble. No wonder the sewing unit in Home Ec came so naturally to me 2 years later - learning to use a sewing machine was a godsend compared to handsewing.
Kairi, from Kingdom Hearts 2 was my first taste at an actual costume - I needed something cute, but not too difficult considering I only had 2 months to complete it before ACEN 2007, which would be its debut.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Thus far, Yuna from Final Fantasy X. SO much detail and craftsmanship went into that costume - as well as going through hell and back trying to retrieve the files from my comp when it decided to crash...XD
In the end, the costume turned out to be a spitting image of Yuna - I just hope I do her justice!!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Morrigan from Darkstalkers - highly overdone, but something about Morrigan just hits me - sexy and seductive, yet classy and elegant - I aim to exhale such an air in myself.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I haven't had much experience with cosplay - but the little I do have has proven to be filled with memorable experiences - far too many to list here. :)
Do you participate in masquerades?
No - but I'd like to!

Tell us a little about yourself
I am currently in school to become a registered nurse, until then I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. When I'm not making costumes, I read, play video games, watch movies, go shopping, surfing the net (yet another slave to myspace -___-), and work!! I'm a server at an ale house, and although it's not the best of places to be - it's paying the bills...kinda.
