I go by Moira in the cosplay realm. My real name is only used for professional purposes, ie. work, school, etc. I'm 19 and a freshman in community college. My goal in life is to become a costume designer.

What got you into cosplay?
I fell upon the cosplaylab.com site, this was back in 8th grade, almost five years ago, and it got me so interested in dressing up as favorite characters. That was around the time that Inuyasha was just becoming big, so I wanted to cosplay Kagome. It didn't happen and I just planned and drew out the outfits until I met my friend Sue back in freshman year. She was also going to cosplay but as Sango. Her mom helped her with her first cosplay and said she would help with mine. Never happened due to certain circumstances. Next that happened I found this site and then joined soon afterwards. So I was back in the "planning" void until I find out of Houkocon being held in my old hometown and my mother was actually agreeing to taking my boyfriend at the time and I. That's when I got really into cosplaying and why I'm deep into it now. Yay!! Go Cosplay!!
What was your first costume and why?
My very first that was a character's real outfit was Naru Narusegawa's school outfit. At the time Love Hina was getting big and I loved Naru's character. However, I don't think that costume will see the light of day for a long time..... or until I fix the jacket.......
What is your favorite costume and why?
Mikuru Asahina. What can I say? Actually, Idk, so I'll leave it to my Suzumiya-san. Suzumiya-san: "Moe!"
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My character's Rathian armour from Monster Hunter Freedom. It looks like a freakin' flower bud for a skirt!!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Megacon 08 rave. My boyfriend and three other guys from Bonzai Anime. Dressed in drag.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, first time at Metrocon '08 as Kyonko!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Metrocon '08 atm

Tell us a little about yourself
I've graduated from high school. I was an art student for my senior year, getting into as many art classes as I could that seemed interesting. I want to major in the theater department, mostly under costume design and I'm thinking about getting back into drama.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm kind of short..... ^_^;; nothing else!
