What got you into cosplay?
The fact that I can walk around dressed as a cartoon character at a convention and not get made fun of.
What was your first costume and why?
Yzak Jule from Gundam SEED Destiny. I saw on it eBay and said, "DO WANT".
What is your favorite costume and why?
My ZAFT uniform... but which one? >:3
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Leona Garstein from Super Robot Wars or perhaps a Kamen Rider.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably hanging around all the other mecha cosplayers at AnimeBoston 2006 rambling on about Super Robot Wars and stuff, especially singing Mazinger themes walking through the hallway with them.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes. My first was Otakon 2006.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Our Otakon 2006 skit, "A Night At The Axisbury". We had a blast doing it and won the Judge's Award, "Best Use of a Queen Song".
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Actually, I did. I won best costume for my Vulcan Captain costume when I was eight. =P
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently on my way out of high school. My job sucks, but whatever. I collect action figures and build mecha models. I'm planning on getting a career in political sciences or sociology after college.
