What got you into cosplay?
All the way back as far as high school, I remembered seeing people having fun with friends, going to cons, making cosplay... I dreamed one day I could be part of it. For a variety of reasons it kind of took a while, but now I'm finally here, I think!
What was your first costume and why?
We all start small, right? The first cosplay I ever wore was a cheap, store-bought Kaguya Houraisan (Touhou). I wasn't happy with it though. The first I *made* (with my friend Marie) was a Jade Harley dog tier; simple, but that's where everyone starts, right?
What is your favorite costume and why?
I haven't worn that many costumes so far, but my favorite is definitely the Wilbell voll Erslied I made with Marie; it looks great, has loads of detail, is fairly accurate, and most importantly it's fairly wearable and mobile at cons -- and I can drop parts of it easily and have it still look good as a more casual cosplay.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Some of the more complex Atelier cosplays kind of beckon to me, like Liane from Atelier Firis and the Atelier Meruru version of Totori. They still feel out of grasp, but maybe someday?
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When I won my first award and spent the next 3 hours internally screaming
