What got you into cosplay?
My amazing costume-making husband.
What was your first costume and why?
Jade from Mortal Kombat because my husband loved the game and was going as Reptile.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I'm going to have to say Jade because it empowers me and it is easy to get into character.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm going as Ahsoka Tano this year and that has been a dream of mine for a while. I'd also love to go as a quality Darth Talon.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Entering in Denver Comic-Con's Cosplay Shindig as Padme from Episode 2.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, but I would love to!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Not yet, but I hope to remedy that soon.
Tell us a little about yourself
I work full-time as an Assistant Manager at an apartment community (hate) and go to school full-time for English Writing (love). I love the outdoors, my three fur children, cooking, reading, and anything remotely geeky. I'm also working on beginning my first novel.
My favorite game(s)
Any Star Wars game (Battlefront, The Force Unleashed, etc.), any Lego game, Skyrim, and the oldies: Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, DK, etc.
My favorite book(s)
There's not enough room in the world for this list. Some of my favorite authors are Tolkien, George Martin, C.S. Lewis, Dickens, Poe, Twain, and Hemingway.
My favorite character(s)
Ahsoka Tano-Star Wars
All Star Wars Droids
Asajj Ventress-Star Wars
Anakin Skywalker-Star Wars
Princess Leia-Star Wars
Obi-Wan Kenobi-Star Wars
Captain Rex-Star Wars
Padme Amidala-Star Wars
Simba and Nala
I need to go now, but this should be a good dent in the list.
My favorite movies(s)
Just stop. Please Revisit the above columns and draw your own conclusions.
My favorite actors/actresses
The characters and story make it for me.
