What got you into cosplay?
When CCS started up in the US, I REALLY wanted her battle outfits. How cool would it be to dress up as your own superhero?? I thought it was neat.
And as ungirly as I could be, I still got excited about dressing up, and forcing others to dress up (mostly closet) for random school plays. (not theater, ghetto fun stuff like for clubs.)
What was your first costume and why?
Card Captor Sakura's 2nd movie battle outfit. My sis had a halloween gathering and had to partner-costume with someone; her friend already had a Meiling costume, so my sister (and I...on the non sewing parts) made a Sakura costume and she let me have it afterwards. I wore it a year later at my first convention after touching it up some. I will now deny it ever existed.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Nothing in particular. It's just fun to be in a group, which always makes the costume much more fun.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
sure.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When my friends surprised me with a graduation gift of a first trip to a-kon (i was all whining that i wasn't allowed to go, even tho it was my last year in HS..and bam! they got permission for me and moneyz and i cried...)
...and there, we ended up winning best of show out of nowhere....that was intereste :B
But Atsuicon was A TON OF FUN. It may be the best con ever, for me. at least for cosplay. Many <3s to the SOS brigade and Host Club!
Do you participate in masquerades?
yea, i did. But now I'm too lazy to prepare skits with my friends...I'm more of an editor, not a creator :p
(contests are not really that fun to participate in, anyhow, so it's no biggie) I exhaust all creativity on school, as does my friends, so now no more ideas -> no more skits. *shrug*
What was your best masquerade experience?
a-kon 16, since i was there. :D see above

Akon-16: Best in Show (the Village of DDR)
Oni-con 2005: Best Skit (the Bleah Skit)
Shiokazecon: Best in Show (Final Dance Fantasy)

I'm really weird, if i scare you, that's okay, feel free to inch away slowly. :D I don't mind~
I'm a film major, undergrad still...UT Austin, hoorah. I don't enjoy hitting it big (i like being the mastermind behind the scenes >:B) so please treat me like a normal person, who is just like you, and who just so happens to dress up in weird stuff every once in a while. sankyuu~
