Helloz everyone~
I enjoy cosplaying, and wish i could fit more into my schedule :X I have a ton planned, mostly because I <3 groups~ I mostly cosplay with friends I already knew outside of the convention scene (mostly JAC and sometimes now with Paro Paro, Inc) but it's also fun to get to know more people too~

Some cosplaying things about me:
1) I enjoy crossplaying a lot, because all my favorite anime characters are males. easily said.
2) I really like styling wigs. I still have a lot to learn (mostly patience, haha) to get things look more precise, but I do enjoy giving a natural look to a hairstyle, if I could. I have a buttload of wigs in my closet :B
3) For where I pick my cosplays from, I watch anime/read manga when I can. I rarely choose from games because I basically have the coordination of a 4 year old when it comes to video games, so no, I don't play them often (used to rock at SSB tho).
4) I am actually quite a fan of comics/cartoons (HUGE nostalgic freak...) but their designs (tight spandex and underwear on the outside?) on me, a real human being, is not as cool :X depends. So random, tho, most of my friends are huge Doctor Who/Star Trek/Lord of the Rings...for me, not so much. *shrug*

I would like to cosplay with others, as well, but I'm kinda shy (depending on who i'm talking to) :X so I'm sorry if sometimes I am not very friendly...:( but please feel free to chat with me!

What got you into cosplay?
When CCS started up in the US, I REALLY wanted her battle outfits. How cool would it be to dress up as your own superhero?? I thought it was neat, and only CCS at that time had all these unique outfits every episode. And as ungirly as I could be, I still got excited about dressing up, and forcing others to dress up for random school plays (not theater, ghetto fun stuff like for clubs.) Going to cons, it's now less ghetto like :D
What was your first costume and why?
Card Captor Sakura's 2nd movie battle outfit. I can deny it exists. But technically, I didn't make it, my sister did and I did the props. The first one I made (and wore) was Sasuke from Naruto. It was just starting (you know, the time before all those fillers happened). I pimped it out with a giant shuriken that my friend Daniel made for me :) so life was pretty fun back then.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Nothing in particular, I enjoy being with my friends in costume a bit more than just being in the costume. It's just so fun to be in a group, it makes the costume that more epic. Stuff like Reborn!, Ouran, and Haruhi with my friends' large groups is like *glee*
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
sure. But i don't dwell on it cuz...no time/money to make, and within a couple of months, it's off to the next project~ sadness. It would be nice tho to make something complicated tho...with cool props and stuff :B
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When my friends surprised me with a graduation gift of a first trip to a-kon (at first my parents wouldn't let me go, but my friends snuck behind my back and planned my whole trip for me!! *happy tears*)
Do you participate in masquerades?
yea, my friends and i did. Ah, back in the day when we had time...
What was your best masquerade experience?
I would suppose at Shiokazecon, that was the last skit that I felt that I really enjoyed putting the effort into. We did "Final Dance Fantasy," this whole dance-off deal that I thought of when i randomly remembered the Apache dance...it was a lot of fun and probably the best skit I've written.

Akon-16: Best in Show (the Village of DDR) Oni-con 2005: Best Skit (the Bleah Skit) Shiokazecon: Best in Show (Final Dance Fantasy) Ikkicon 2007: Best group hall cosplay (with chisainekocat and KC3T) Oni-con 2008: Random 1st place at masquerade ball (all chisainekocat's, with emikochiba and M4rshmello as well)
