What got you into cosplay?
After going to my first convention, I've always wanted to cosplay and several friends of mine encouraged the idea...but I kept pushing the thought away. Then my sister expressed wanting to cosplay and I couldn't back away from it anymore. XD
What was your first costume and why?
I had two first costumes actually...they were both made at around the same time and both were debuted at the same con...but Mello from Death Note beat my Naruto by a day...so I guess that's my first costume. I adore Mello. His outfits are awesome and a bit of a challenge, so I went for it.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Mello = So fun to cosplay as him. Can't really say why...but it is. <3
Timeskip Naruto = most comfortable costume. ever.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Mateus the Corrupt of FFXII. One day...I just actually might attempt it. Not for a looong time though. XD
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I was walking through the artists alley when I was cosplaying as Naruto and these two little boys a floor above me kept yelling out my character's name and waving from the balcony. They followed me all the way down the hall. It was so cute. :3
Do you participate in masquerades?
No I don't. Maybe in the future?
Tell us a little about yourself
I live in North Las Vegas and I currently attend CCSN. I plan on moving back to California in a few years though. Right now I work as a math tutor at Mojave High School. When I'm not at school or work I'm playing videogames or sewing.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
This hobby has consumed my room and turned it into a sewing workshop...it's quite frightening. o__o;; I also have a younger sister who is known as Nyah XD that cosplays with me all the time now...so feel free to say hi if you run into us!
