What got you into cosplay?
I have been wearing custom Halloween outfits since I was a Baby. My first Halloween costume was a court jester that had a total of 120 small/tine bells sewed on. Another complicated costume I wore as a child was that of two ball gowns, one Cinderellas and the other was Belle from Beauty and the beast. One first prize at school both years in the row. So naturally I would convert this passion of wearing costumes on Halloween, to something else I love which is Anime/Manga.
What was your first costume and why?
My first Costume was Sakura Hanuro From Naruto. I chose this Costume Because I love the charater. Sure is was a little annoying at the beginning, but she grew on me.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I don't like picking favorites for anything, and currently I only really worn to cosplay outfits. But I have to say I leaning towards the custom kimono I have.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Esther's Empire outfit from the Trinity Blood Manga would be nice. But I've chosen a rare cosplay for next Anime Boston which is Rath from Dragon Knights Manga. I've only been able to find on other person who did this character and the outfit was so simple. It wasn't my favorite. I do have to give them props for the light sword they made for the character though.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At Anime Boston 07, while leaving artist alley. I meet a group of girls, and one of them was dressed as Meer from Gundam Seed Destiny. I was dressed as Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed/destiny. She asked me to pose with her, based off a picture of the characters are in.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, I get stage fright. Even though I've performed in chorus/choir concerts during High School. The only difference was it was a very large group of us.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'am 21 years old. I was going to a local college for four years, but I've hated what I have been studying. So I've decided to quit school and work on my Art Portfolio and apply to Massachusetts College of Art located in Boston.
I work at a major book store, Barns & Noble in the Northshore. I love drawing, writing, reading and swimming.
