What got you into cosplay?
I've loved anime for a few years before I first attended my first convention is 2000 (It was Otakon) and when I asked some people who went to these conventions and looked at fans cosplay pages, I realized I really wanted to try it. My friend had also been trying to make an anthy costume out of a big red table cloth, so I helped her...and it was so fun! So I made my first costume, Vincent Valentine, and I loved dressing! So now I have 2-3 costumes a convention. ^.^
What was your first costume and why?
Vincent Valentine, from Final Fantasy 7, was my first costume. I loved Vincent and Sephiroth, but on short notice (a week before Otakon I was told I could go) I decided to go with Vincent. I realized I had most of it and it was a quick costume so I could help my friend make anthy. It was really fun to do!
What is your favorite costume and why?
I think my favorite costume, as of now, is either my Kuja, from FF9, costume or my Ashram costume from Record of Lodoss War. I liked Kuja's costume because it was fun to make, I looooooove Kuja, and the only costume that wasn't hot. But Ashram was a pain to make, but turned out ok in the end. I can't decide! ^.^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes, me and my little group of cosplayers with to do a big Final Fantasy 10 group and I would love to make a big Behemoth costume.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My most memorable cosplay experience was at Shoujocon 2002, when me and my little group of cosplayers finally got a group cosplay together and won a judge's award for our Record of Loddoss War cosplay, it was very touching, we all gave her a hug! We are very thankful! ^.^
Do you participate in masquerades?
I try to when I can, but most of the time me and my friends feel a little intimidated at the larger conventions, since everyone is so good and the skits are usually funny.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I have to say the same experience that was my most memorable, unfortunately that was my only masquerade experience.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
A Judge's Award at Shoujocon 2002, and best group cosplay at Shoujocon 2002.
Tell us a little about yourself
Ok...well, I'm still in school...blah. Starting college in the fall (2003)and I'm a little afraid. ^^;; I have a family, with an annoying older brother. *growls* I have no job as of yet...I'm trying very hard to find one and as for hobbies, it's mostly anime, cosplay, and drawing. I'm going to school to major in some sort of art career (not sure yet ^^) and so I try to draw a lot. Though I wish I could draw manga...I can't seem to get it right. *envies all who can* Um, I always look forward to my next convention, trying to keep myself busy with cosplay. I usually attend Katsucon, Shoujocon, and Otakon...but since I had a horrible time at Katsucon this year (2003) I won't be going back and since Shoujocon moved to NY and much later this year (2003), I won't be able to attend that...so Otakon is my only con left. *sniffle* It makes me sad.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Um, I'm a little quiet at first, but I hope to make friends with new cosplayers and anime lovers online and at conventions. ^.^ Hope to see you all there!
My favorite anime
So many to list...um I'll just list a few... My favorites currently are Full Moon wo Sagashite and Tokyo Mew Mew. I love yaoi and shounen-ai to death! I'm the keeper of the yaoi among my friends, (scary ain't it?) ^.^ I love Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Weiss Kreuz, Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, Blue Seed, etc. Believe me the list goes on and on. I love all sorts!
My favorite game(s)
I can do my favorite types of games (or else we'll be here long ^^). I loooove RPGs, Final Fantasy being my favorite series (suprise, suprise) and i don't mind trying new games. ^^
My favorite book(s)
I love fantasy books, currently reading the Aurian series and then the Lost Years of Merlin (I have a lot of free time in math class).
My favorite character(s)
Wow, this list would be even longer then my anime or video game list. Lets just say I have a soft spot for bishounen, womenizers (only in anime though ^^), and the funny or cute ones.
My favorite movies(s)
Um...favorite non-anime movies would be anything funny or fantasy...and favorite anime movie would have to be Akira...I love the violence. ^^

I don't really have any favorite actors or actress anymore.
