What got you into cosplay?
I was always a freak of doing costumes and Halloween. But finding out that there's a hobby out there for my creativity really interested me. I always loved playing dress-up as a child; cosplay is simply a grown-up version of dress-up. Costumes were always my favorite part when doing performances like dance; so this simply became a progression into the hobby.
What was your first costume and why?
The first costume I've ever made was a princess costume for Halloween. I was tired of using the same store-bought ones that everyone else had. I liked being original.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I tend to love the costume I'm working on, just so that I can see it completed.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
During one convention, the entire hotel staff came up to me and complimented on my costume. It made me feel rewarded for my work.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, I do.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Sitting there and learning how to make my own presentations and costumes better.
