What got you into cosplay?
Anime. And knowing that I could do it if I actually WOULD do it. XP
What was your first costume and why?
SNJ Choji Akimichi from Naruto. I did it because the idea amused me--a lot. And I've never seen an SNJ Choji, so I felt it must be done. And it was! ^___^
What is your favorite costume and why?
I'd say my pink Zabuza. It was fun having people flipping out over the sword. It was semi-random and done entirely for my own entertainment. Then I got lots of love for the sword and ended up using it as a sort of honing beacon for my various 'net friends to find me. I think I'll bring it out, maybe even just the sword, to use it for that purpose again. :D
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Any version of Cutie Honey. I also fell in love with this evilness from Tsubasa called the Kishiim.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Getting to Animazement '07 to be greeted by people I'd barely spoken to since Animazement '06. For someone who's very shy and semi-anti-social having another person run out of a pool to come talk to you is nifty.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope. I doubt I will ever enter any contests.
Tell us a little about yourself
I have a job, and am there six days a week, but it's still part-time. I have a great family here, but I'm trying to move two hours away for my love. Aside from working I try to spend time with the few friends that still live in this town. Other than that it's anime, reading, DDR-ing, walking, and hoping to get to school.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I love cosplaying in groups. It's always fun to cosplay, but with a big group of like-minded people (even friends!) it's always that much better.
