What got you into cosplay?
Writing my diploma thesis on cosplay made me want to give it a try - and now I can't stop! ^^;
What was your first costume and why?
Lulu - I was playing FF X at the time and the character and "wow" costume struck me from the first time I saw her. I wanted a real challenge for my first cos - like, if I were to make just one costume ever, what would it be?!
What is your favorite costume and why?
It used to be Lulu, later replaced by Warrior Yuna. I'm rather fed up with wearing those costumes now though. In 2007, I added White Lulu to the list, as I'd been dreaming of making this costume for such a long time and I'm really satisfied with how it turned out. And I've received so much kind & positive feedback for this original design, which definitely makes it one of my favorites!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Dream costumes I've completed so far: Warrior Yuna, White Lulu, Fran...
The list of stunning costumes I'd love to make in the future is way too long though^^;
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Basically, meeting people through cosplay.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Sometimes. Being on stage is great, but watching is so much more fun^^ I only go through the trouble when I really have a story to tell and a costume (or a whole group) that I'm proud of and that I think is worth showing.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Winning hearts and a trip to Japan at the German Cosplay Championship!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
A few^.^ Most notably, I won the 1st German Cosplay Championship in 2007.
