What got you into cosplay?
I was asked to for Otakon 2005. My friend asked, "Could you be our Doc?" Yes, it's a boring story. But I thought cosplay was a cool idea, and wanted to get in on it.
What was your first costume and why?
Herr Doktor, from Hellsing. He was the first because I was asked to, and I thought he was reasonably cool (not that I look a thing like the mad doctor).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Most of my "dream" costumes are more like, Lenin. Because I'm a huge loser. Actually, cosplaying Guts from Berserk. But not yet.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Otakon 2005, because it was my only one, but it was still really memorable! It was a lot of fun, participating in the Hellsing shoot, and wandering about Baltimore in a bloodied labcoat.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, but maybe one day.
What was your best masquerade experience?
A nonexistent one. ORIGINALITY POINT.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Does, "Worst Costume, Get the Hell Out!" count? Nah.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a junior in high school, have a family which thinks I'm pretty crazy (great observation!), will probably end up a bum on the street with insane poetry, and like long walks on beaches.
