What got you into cosplay?
Going to Anime Weekend Atlanta for the first time. Not being able to cosplay my first time made me feel SO left out. I too wanted to pose and have people drool over me! XD
I decided that the next year I would be cosplaying and getting all my friends into it too!
What was your first costume and why?
Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket. It was a very basic, easy costume (I had a pair of pants that looked like his and it was easy to find a black shirt). I wore it to my school's Anime Club Rave and got alot of compliments.
I actually freaked my boyfriend out because I apparently looked rather boyish. I didn't have a proper wig so I put some red hair pieces on my head and wore a hat. It looked silly but it worked. That was my first cosplay experience and also my first experience with crossplay.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
An Asuka Langley Sohryu plug suit costume. I'd love to use my detail oriented-ness to get it perfect.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The Mana-sama costume I did at AWA XII. It was my first cosplay where I was actually recognised and got ALOT of pictures. Plus it took me like an hour to put on because of all the white makeup I had to use to make me sufficiently pale. It got all over EVERYTHING! XD

I'm nineteen, going on twenty and I'm a student at the Art Institute of Atlanta.
