What got you into cosplay?
I first learned about cosplay in December 2002. At first, I didn't think much of the hobby besides that it was cool. After a friend went to an anime convention in the early part of the next year, she told me about what it was like and how a lot of people were dressed in costume. I became more interested in the hobby and I spent about a month looking at pictures of cosplayers especially from my favorite series: Final Fantasy. The construction of the costumes and pictures from the cosplayers I saw motivated me to try my skill at this hobby. In early March 2003, I decided one morning that I would start cosplaying and I joined this site shortly after that decision.
What was your first costume and why?
Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII. I always have loved the design of her angelwings. The game is one of my favorites and I thought Rinoa was a good costume to start out with since the design wasn't too difficult.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far, it is my Yuna Summoner. I'm very fond of the game, character, and design of the costume. This is my one costume that has gone through the most revisions.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Amano Celes. I wanted to dress up as Celes ever since I put a white sheet over my self and pretended that I was her when I was 9 while playing the game, She is my favorite videogame character.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When I was first finishing Rinoa and got dressed in in it the first time, my nephew got my Rinoa figure and pointed at it and said, "Look Judy, it's you!" Heh.. that gave me a warm feeling.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a registered nurse working at a local hospital on the cardiac floor. I'm continuing college and slowly working towards my bachelor's degree.

Naruto, D. Grayman, Death Note Gundam Wing, Fruits Basket, Trinity Blood, One Piece, Seed Destiny, Tsubasa Chronicles, Bleach, & Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Final Fantasy Series, Zelda Series, Metroid Series, Metal Gear Series, Xenosaga, Super Smash Brothers Melee, & Kingdom Hearts.

Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter

Male - Squall; Female - Celes. Yuna runs a close second to Celes. Balthier is great too. <3
