What got you into cosplay?
I just decided it was cool, and I wanted to do it for a long time, so I finally got some money together and 'went with it.' to borrow a phrase.
What was your first costume and why?
The Card Captor Sakura Blue Jester battle costume from when she captures watery. It would have been the Saint Tail costume, but I shelved that one and went with the CCS costume that I've wanted to do forever. I was inspired by plastic gold balls that I had hanging on my door for years.
What is your favorite costume and why?
The Blue Jester costume will always be very special to me because it was both my first costume and my dream costume, and it turned out well for being both.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I have a lot of costumes that I intend to make, but none that I consider 'out of my league' or 'dream' costumes.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I really liked making the shoes. I covered marching band shoes with duct tape and then covered that with fabric and did the trim and attached the balls. Good times!!! It got me very excited.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a music education major, concentration on clarinet at West Chester University. I graduate in the spring of 2008. I pretty much do music major stuff all the time, but cosplaying is a nice escape. I also babysit, teach lessons, and sell things on ebay to make a living. Whee. I like to draw, read, watch anime, and now cosplay!

For SNES: Mario Kart, Power Rangers, Mickey's Magical Quest, the Donkey Kong Countries. For PS2: DDR, Katamari, The X Files game (which rocks!) Taiko Drum Master, Mad Maestro.
