Just your average cosplayer..? 8D

I cosplay whenever time and my funds allow me to do so~ They are both quite precious. =3

I've started taking prop commissions recently, for the local community. I don't think I make OMGHOLYSHIWOWAWESOME!!!! props, but I do try my hardest and strive to make it as presentable as I can! =D I hope the owners will like the products~~~

What got you into cosplay?
I've actually liked to dress up in similar styles to the characters from mangas that I've read ever since I was really young. I'd either change my hair style or put on something that will remind me of the character. No one would really notice but it was something that secretly made me happy to do... XD;;; What really got me into full-fledged cosplaying was being introduced to it by a friend at the time (now one of my best best buddies!!). And since I know how to somewhat sew already, it wasn't hard to persuade me to make a costume myself! ....And it was all downhill from there.... LOL, j/kj/k XDDDD
What was your first costume and why?
If I remembered correctly, it was Little from Cardcaptors Sakura. It was supposed to be for a group cos... but I couldn't finish it in time, so I ended up not finishing it until much later on in the year... Now that I think about it, I don't know why I didn't consider Tomoyo... but I guess I wanted to be a 'card' at the time XD;;; And the one that I thought I would look good (and not too hard to make) was Little~ So that's how it turned out to be X3;;
What is your favorite costume and why?
...I don't know... I pretty much like all of my costumes XD;;; But I do know which one I don't like... I don't like my Nephilim... XD;;; Since I look so HORRIBLE in it! *gags*
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Sakura's outfit from the splash page for chapitre 100 of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I really REALLY like it... I might not necessarily be able to make it for myself... but perhaps I might make it someday... *far away look*
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
...Well, there was this one time during Scon06 where it was the last day.. and I had on Hinata at the time. But I was going to change into Ururu, and on my way to bother my friend to borrow a black wig I came across an awesome Urahara in the hallway. So I went up to him and asked if he would still be around in about 10min or so? (can't remember now XD;;) Anyways, I ran to go get the wig from my friend, and zoomed into the washroom to change and rushed out back into the hallway to get a picture with him XD;;; The reason for all this hassle was that I was really afraid I wouldn't be able to get a picture with others from the same series... which happens to me A LOT! So, I got my picture with him (it's in my gallery... coz it was the only decent pic of me in Ururu XD;;;) ...I was really tired that day (last day and all), so I look REALLY tired... blackness under my eyes... omg, I must've looked so scary (ToT)!!!!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Haven't yet.... I don't know if I ever would... I might never since I get stage fright XD;;;
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I won a Best Host award randomly for my Honey from Ouran~ XD;;; I didn't even realize it was for a contest when the photographer asked for my picture (^^;)
